Terms of Service
Last updated: September 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ('Terms') govern your use of weshipova.com and Shipova's WhatsApp ordering service, operated by Shipova Logistics Inc. ('Shipova', 'we', 'us'). By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Shipova helps customers in Monrovia, Liberia and Accra, Ghana buy authentic goods from major U.S. retailers and ship them home in full 55-gallon barrels — ordered and tracked over WhatsApp, with automated landed quotes and local Mobile Money payment.
2. Placing an order
You place orders by messaging us on WhatsApp. Our automated assistant can browse the catalog, build your cart, and give you an instant landed quote — but it can only prepare an order for a human teammate to review and confirm; it cannot finalize a real order on its own. Review your cart and quote carefully before confirming.
3. Pricing and currency
Quotes are shown in USD and, where relevant, GHS or LRD. Your quote covers merchandise, international freight, our handling and processing, and last-mile dispatch to your address. Shipova adds no further fees after you’re quoted.
Your quote does not include import duties, taxes, or tariffs charged in your destination country — those are your responsibility and are described in sections 7 and 8. Currency conversion is based on rates in effect at the time of your quote and may change if payment is delayed.
4. Payment
We accept MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, bank wire, and Visa/Mastercard. You’re responsible for making sure the payment details you give us are accurate. We’ll confirm your payment before your barrel is packed and sealed for shipment.
5. Changes and cancellations
Message us on WhatsApp as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. We can usually accommodate changes before your barrel has been packed and sealed. Once a barrel is sealed and handed to a carrier, we may not be able to change or cancel that order. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method and may take additional time depending on the payment method used.
6. Shipping and delivery
See our Shipping Policy for freight options, estimated timelines, and delivery details.
7. Customs, duties, and prohibited items
Import duties, taxes, and tariffs are not included in your quote. Customs authorities in your destination country assess them, you are responsible for paying them, and you pay them separately from what you pay Shipova — we don’t collect or remit them on your behalf. We don’t set the amount and can’t tell you in advance what it will be.
You’re responsible for making sure the items you order are legal to import into your destination country. We reserve the right to refuse, hold, or remove from your barrel any item that’s prohibited, restricted, hazardous, or that customs authorities won’t clear.
8. Exporting and importer of record
Goods are exported from the United States by our freight forwarder on Shipova’s behalf. You are the importer of record in your destination country. That means you are responsible for any import duties, taxes, tariffs, and customs formalities that apply to your barrel there.
You pay import duties and taxes directly to customs in your destination country — Shipova doesn’t collect, advance, or remit them on your behalf. Shipova is not the importer of record and isn’t responsible for the duty or tax amount a destination customs authority assesses. We also aren’t responsible for delays, storage charges, or refused entry that result from duties or taxes going unpaid.
9. Human Shopper requests
Items outside our live catalog can be requested through our Human Shopper feature — a real U.S. personal shopper will source specific items on your behalf, subject to availability and price confirmation before your order is finalized.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shipova isn’t liable for delays or losses caused by customs authorities, carriers, weather, or other events outside our reasonable control. Where we are liable, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
11. No warranty
Our service is provided “as is.” We don’t guarantee that WhatsApp, our website, or our automated assistant will be available or error-free at all times.
12. Governing law
[Governing law and jurisdiction to be confirmed with legal counsel before this page is relied upon.]
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continuing to order from us after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
