Shipping Policy

Barrels are consolidated and scanned at our Miami and Los Angeles (MIA / LAX) logistics hubs, then shipped to:

• Monrovia, Liberia — via Roberts International Airport or the Freeport of Monrovia
• Accra, Ghana — via Kotoka International Airport or Tema Port

• Air freight: 5–7 days
• Sea freight: 4–6 weeks to Monrovia, 6–8 weeks to Accra, depending on vessel schedule

Sea freight departs on a set vessel schedule — your order needs to be confirmed and paid before that week’s cutoff to make the next sailing. We’ll tell you the current cutoff on WhatsApp when you order.

Your automated landed quote is 100% landed — merchandise, international freight, customs clearance, and local dispatch to your address are all included before you pay. There are no hidden fees added after the fact.

Every order ships in a full 55-gallon barrel. Warehouse staff scan every item into your barrel with barcode verification and log real-time weigh-ins — you get a video snapshot of your barrel being packed and sealed in WhatsApp before it leaves the warehouse.

Customs clearance for standard, permitted household and retail goods is included in your landed total. The following categories can’t be shipped in a Shipova barrel: hazardous materials, firearms, ammunition and weapons, illegal drugs or substances, perishable or fresh food, and counterfeit goods. Customs authorities in Liberia and Ghana make the final call on what may be imported — see our Terms of Service for how we handle items that customs won’t clear.

You’ll get live milestone updates on WhatsApp as your barrel moves — packing complete, departed, cleared customs, and out for local delivery.

Once your barrel clears customs, average clearance takes 3–5 business days before local dispatch to your address in Monrovia or Accra. We’ll confirm a delivery window with you on WhatsApp.

If anything about your barrel doesn’t look right on arrival, message us on WhatsApp with your order reference and photos where possible. One tap escalates your request to a real teammate who can help — substitutions, price checks, and special requests are all handled by a person, not just the automated assistant.
